At Pet Health Hospital we utilize the safest available anesthetics for our pet patients. This is especially important for our senior or high-risk patients. Furthermore, your pet will always be monitored by state-of-the-art equipment and trained staff, from the beginning to end of each procedure. Our primary goal is to protect the safety of our patients; it is not about the number of procedures we can perform.
Anesthesia is a method of sedating an animal in order to perform a surgical procedure. Anesthesia puts the animal into a “sleep” state where the animal is not feeling pain and therefor not moving around and complicating the procedure. The animal is then brought out of anesthesia after the surgical procedure.
