Dr. Jonalyn Gagliard is originally from North Caldwell, New Jersey. She began aspiring to treat animals of all kinds when she was a young girl. While in high school and college, Dr. Gagliardi worked as a veterinary technician in a small animal clinic and volunteered at a Seeing Eye organization caring for and fostering guide dogs. Additionally, she gained experience as a zookeeper at the Central Park Zoo in New York City, explored equine sports medicine in Maryland, researched bovine laminitis in Pennsylvania, and studied Olive Ridley sea turtles in Costa Rica.
She earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Delaware and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Missouri. After graduation, Dr. Gagliardi moved to Las Vegas and worked at a busy small animal clinic for 2 ½ years. She joined the Pet Health team in February of 2020 after learning about the unique core values of the practice. Dr. Gagliardi is passionate about preventive medicine as well as dentistry and dermatology. She truly enjoys educating clients and developing a strong bond with pet parents and their animals, and she believes effective communication is key to doing that!
Outside of work, Dr. Gagliardi loves to spend time with her family and friends, travel, and cook (especially Italian food)! An energetic Boxer named Moose and Petunia, a perfect Persian cat, complete her household.
