Dr. Elise Sanchez, DVM was born and raised in California. When she was a child, she played the trombone and thought she wanted to be a musician, singer, or teacher when she grew up. Dr. Sanchez, however, found her passion in veterinary medicine, instead. She attended veterinary school at the University of Minnesota where she graduated with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Sanchez joined Pet Health Animal Hospital in 2020 and is excited to work with a team that is committed to providing high-level, integrative veterinary care to its patients.
Since moving to Las Vegas, Dr. Sanchez has also enjoyed helping children in our community by working as a volunteer for Serving Our Kids, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing weekend and after-school meals to children in Southern Nevada who would otherwise go hungry.
Dr. Sanchez and her husband have their hands full with a toddler, three cats, and a parakeet, but she cannot wait to add an adopted dog to their family as soon as their household can handle the extra energy.
When she’s not providing veterinary care to pets at Pet Health or volunteering at Serving Our Kids, Dr. Sanchez enjoys painting and spending time with her family. They love trying new restaurants and foods or relaxing at the beach together and participating in recreational watersports.
